This was an older opportunity presented to me when I frequently visited Temecula CA. My friend and I were wandering Temecula’s Old Town scene and stopped by a comedy show where I met this man and his camera team as they were wrapping up filming. We ended up exchanging information and weeks later he invited me to attend this sponsorship party at OG Juice Co, a natural juice company in Murrieta. Although an enlightening experience, it wasn’t something I was completely familiar with, but with the guidance and patience provided by my new mentor I was able to film this short video for their Instagram page. He allowed me to keep and edit the footage in my own software to submit.

Impact Magazine Fall 2024

This project was the first straight-to-print project I had ever done. This was also the first time I had ever used and opened InDesign, which was a real challenge. It is a biannual (semesterly) magazine about stories and people around our college and the communities that we reach. At the 2025 Journalism Association of Community Colleges convention (JACC 2025), the design team and I received second place for Magazine Design/Layout for this publication, which was crazy! This mag has a real place in my heart, and I cannot wait to help with the Spring edition this year.
